Job Description

We are seeking a talented, motivated and experienced C# Unity Game Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to both the development of new game features and the improvement of our existing titles. You'll be instrumental in optimizing code, maintaining game performance, and porting games to multiple platforms. OBJECTIVES

Design and develop games for Android and iOS platforms using the Unity3D engine; Build and maintain game client architecture, focusing on the development of core engineering modules; Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and server engineers to streamline game content production processes and improve our tech stack; Ensure high-quality mobile game client performance, optimizing for smooth gameplay across various mobile devices; Explore new game client technologies, identify emerging trends, and develop practical implementation strategies for innovative features; Perform code reviews and optimize performance to ensure software quality aligns with company standards and best practices; Gets things done on time. COMPETENCIES Proficient in C# and Lua for developing core game functionalities, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience in rendering and performance optimization; Familiar with adaptation and optimization of game architecture and code targeting mobile optimization; Prioritize work based on player view point, company objectives and timelines; Exceptional attention to detail is a must; in your application/cover letter please mention the phrase "beauty is in the details"; Excellent coding skills, with a passion for the game industry. Strong communicator with a high sense of responsibility and the ability to thrive under pressure. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 3+ years of Unity programming experience from another game studio, must have worked on live mobile game; Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field; highly skilled in Unity with a deep understanding of the engine's core functionalities and architecture; Pluses: Master (MS) degree in a STEM-related field; Pluses: Experience in converting Unity projects to HTML5, with a solid understanding of best practices for HTML5 performance optimization. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Los Angeles, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work; Prolonged period of time sitting at a desk and computer. The range for this role is $75,000 to $120,000 depending on experience.
