Position Overview:

The purpose of the Janitor position is to ensure a clean and safe working environment for all Duluth Trading Company employees and visitors within our Belleville, WI   Fulfillment Center .

 

The expected seasonal timeframe is through the end of March, with potential for the season to extend beyond. All available hours are subject to the business need.

What You'll Do:

• Maintain the cleanliness of office and reception areas
  • Nightly trash and recycle paper removal
  • Weekly Vacuuming, or as needed
    • Adjust task list to minimize the impacts of vacuum operation during the work day
  • Dust all work surfaces weekly
• Maintain cleanliness of all restrooms in the facility
• Maintain cleanliness of all lunchroom and upper-level break rooms
• Recommend purchases of cleaning supplies. Maintain inventory and communicate to warehouse supervisor when replenishment of supplies is needed
• Removal of snow from sidewalks as needed
• Other job duties/tasks as assigned

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma
  • Equivalent work experience would be considered
• Floor stripping and waxing experience preferred
• Ability to adjust daily task schedule as needed to support the operations

Environmental Factors:

• Frequently lifting up to thirty pounds, occasional lifting up to seventy pounds
• Adjusting or moving objects over twenty pounds in all directions.
• Push/Pull a picking cart and/or pallet of up to five hundred pounds
• Frequently reaching, twisting and bending in multiple directions
• Standing or walking for the majority of your work shift
• The ability to walk long distances
• The ability to climb flights of stairs throughout the day
• Ability to perform work in tight quarter workstations
• Moderate warehouse noise level
• Continuous arm, hand and wrist movement
• Work in temperatures ranging from 50-95 degrees (occasionally ranging from 0-60 degrees)
• Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one work area to another
