CAD Operator
Location: On-site | Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 (based on experience and qualifications)

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Operator to support our audiovisual integration projects. This role involves producing detailed technical documentation and drawings that bring complex AV systems to life in mission-critical and high-profile environments. You’ll work closely with engineering, sales, and project teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all design phases.

Responsibilities

• Develop precise CAD drawings including:
• AV system wiring schematics
• Signal flow diagrams
• Architectural and mounting details
• Floor and reflected ceiling plans
• Convert and manipulate drawings from client files
• Maintain AV equipment libraries and technical standards
• Document various systems: audio, video, control, networking, and mechanical integration

Qualifications

• Degree or certification from a CAD-focused training program
• 3+ years of CAD drafting experience (AV industry experience preferred)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with AutoCAD 3D and Revit is a plus
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Bluebeam, and Adobe tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively
