Overview
Assembly Smart, a trusted provider of in-home furniture and product assembly services, is seeking skilled and dependable Assemblers. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, enjoy hands-on work, and have experience using hand and power tools. As an Assembler, you’ll directly support Jacksonville customers by assembling everything from dressers and nightstands to fitness equipment. Responsibilities

• Assemble various furniture and home products, following specific instructions provided in assembly manuals.
• Use a range of tools, including cordless drills, screwdrivers, and other hand tools, to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Travel to customer locations in the Jacksonville area to complete scheduled assemblies, ensuring timely arrival and professional service.
• Maintain a clean workspace in customer homes, collecting and disposing of packaging after assembly.
• Provide top-notch customer service, addressing any questions and ensuring satisfaction upon project completion.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in furniture assembly, maintenance, or related hands-on work is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools is essential; familiarity with assembly instruction manuals and blueprints is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Comfortable working independently, with strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and maneuver various pieces of furniture and boxed products.

Compensation

• Hourly pay starting at $30 per hour, based on experience and project type.
• Flexible, on-call scheduling with the potential for full-time hours for top performers.
