The Associate Creative Director (Concept & Copy) - Campaigns at Walmart Creative Studio leads the development of high-impact, 360° marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and in-store channels, with a focus on Back to College and Holiday initiatives. This role requires a strategic, detail-oriented creative leader with exceptional copywriting skills, a strong portfolio, and experience managing teams and agency partners. The ACD collaborates cross-functionally to ensure cohesive brand storytelling and campaign execution, while maintaining high standards of quality and craft. Candidates should bring 10+ years of experience, a passion for innovation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

**What you'll do...**
+ **Collaboration** : Ideate, create, and execute high-volume, time-sensitive 360 campaign creative across all channels (owned & paid). Work cross-functionally with marketing, ops teams, integrated strategy and external agencies to ensure creative cohesion at every touchpoint and successful campaign delivery. Contribute to the development of compelling brand narratives and messaging frameworks that meaningfully differentiate Walmart and resonate with customers during seasonal moments.
+ Build trust and effective relationships with key partners in a large, highly matrixed organization.
+ Develop creative leadership and marketing pitch decks to gain alignment setting the team up for success.
+ Manage projects, growth, and development of mid and junior level creatives.

+ Manage projects that are on-brief and on-brand, mitigating feedback, ultimately keeping workstreams on track from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives, particularly during compressed seasonal timelines.
+ **Trend Analysis:** Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, culture and consumer behaviors, demonstrating a keen understanding of seasonal consumer behavior and purchasing drivers to inform creative decisions and maintain our brand's competitive edge
+ **Quality Assurance:** Maintain high standards of quality and craft throughout the conceptual and execution process, ensuring that the final work meets or exceeds expectations and relentlessly seek to raise the creative bar.
+ Ability to write for assets and brand campaigns as needed
+ Attend & oversee production shoots as needed, demonstrating deep understanding of the end-to-end production process, including working effectively with directors, DPs, editors, mixers, etc., to ensure the highest standards of quality and craft. Offer flexible solutions to production concerns.
+ **Project Oversight:** Manage team & high-profile projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives. Ability to quickly scope campaign initiatives, prioritize projects, and proactively manage your own time and deadlines - gracefully manage multiple deliverables with competing deadlines. Ability to quickly turn around creative concepts in an iterative environment with a genuine hunger for constructive feedback. Effectively adapt strategies and creative based on performance data and seasonal shifts.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in creative writing, advertising, or a related field.
+ 10+ years of experience in professional advertising agency Copywriting experience, with at least 2 years management experience, , with a proven track record of delivering ground-breaking creative campaigns across multiple media
+ Exceptional portfolio featuring big campaign ideas across full funnel TV/Video, social, digital, experiential & print - conceptual and innovative thinking.
+ Proficiency in industry-standard design tools and software including the Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Google Slides, Slack and Figma.
+ Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate external agency partners and connect across Walmart Creative Studio. Maintain composure in critical situations and communicate clearly with both internal and external partners.
+ Clearly articulates vision and provides contextual feedback.
+ Organized with diligent follow-through on every task.
+ Excellent written, communication and presentation skills, with a strong ability to sell concepts to senior stakeholders. Effectively present concepts and campaign strategies to senior leadership in simple and compelling terms that earns executive sponsorship and drives approvals.
+ Deep dedication to craft, from concept ideation to execution.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00-$216,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
