Job Title: Registered Nurse - Stepdown/Cardiac
Location: Winston-Salem, NC 27103
Shift: 3x12 Hour Nights (18:45 - 07:15)

Payment Breakdown:
$20/ hr. on W2 ($720 weekly) + $33/hr. as Stipend ($1,188 weekly max stipend)

Responsibilities:
• Care for intermediate-level post-op cardiothoracic and structural heart surgery patients.
• Manage a-lines, titratable drips, BIPAP, trachs, epidurals, temporary pacemakers, chest tubes, etc.
• Monitor patient conditions and provide critical care with high-level cardiac knowledge.
• Maintain patient safety and satisfaction through exceptional care in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills & Certifications:
• 2+ years of experience, including 1st-time travelers
• Skills: Telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, arterial line management, titratable drips
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS
• Self-rating: 2-3 for Arterial Line Management, 3 for titratable cardiac & vasoactive drips

Patient Population:
• Post-op cardiothoracic, TAVR, VATS, and esophagogastrostomy patients.
• Includes cardiac telemetry overflow.

Additional Notes:
• Nurse-patient ratio: 1:3-6, max 4 ICCU patients
• Unit systems: PYXSIS, Dimensions/Epic, SBAR
