What You Will do as a Senior Material Handler:

• Timely processing of physical and ERP goods receipts including documentation and physical condition verification

• Verification of items picked for accuracy and condition

• Timely returns processing

• Load and unload trucks as required

• Perform physical and ERP goods movements

• Generate work orders from ERP if applicable

• Complete confirmations, backflushing, and work order goods receipts as applicable

• Process stock transfers and material requests

• Stock warehouse with material once approved for use

Expereince, Skills, and Abilities Needed:

Minimum:

• HS Diploma or GED

• 3+ years related disciplines experience required

• Previous forklift experience (counterbalance, stock picker, reach truck)

• General proficiencies in Microsoft Office and ERP/WMS required

Preferred:

• Forklift certification

• Experience in counterbalance, stock picker, reach truck

• Previous training experience (formal/informal) is preferred

• Experience acting as back up to Team Lead preferred

Other:

• Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast paced, changing environment

• Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors

• Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance for required shift:** 8:00am - 4:30pm**

• Ability to continually meet all ADA factors as detailed within this job description

  • Lift/Carry 21-55lbs Continuously (67-100%) and 56-100lbs Rarely (1-10%)

  • Push/Pull 21-55lbs Frequently (34-66%) and 56-100lbs Rarely (1-10%)

  • Bend/Twist frequently (34-66% of the time)

  • Reach below the knee/above the shoulder frequently (34-66% of the time)

  • Squat/Kneel, Climb, Sit, Stand/Walk frequently (34-66% of the time)

  • Light grasping/keyboard/writing continuously (67-100% of the time)

  • Operate power tools continuously (67-100% of the time)

  • Speaking/Hearing frequently (34-66% of the time)

  • Seeing/Depth Perception continuously (67-100% of the time)
