Senior Flight Software Engineer – Aerospace & Robotics

A growing aerospace and robotics company is seeking a Senior Flight Software Engineer to join its dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to develop and architect the full software stack, including application development, operating systems, networking, and firmware. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software for safety-critical systems.
• Define and implement system requirements and software architecture.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and performance.
• Work in a dynamic environment with direct impact on product success.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience developing software for safety-critical applications (aerospace, robotics, automotive).
• Strong technical experience in multi-layer (OS, networking, middleware) flight software architecture.
• Proficiency in Rust/C++ and experience with Linux (Real-Time) environments.
• Experience working on embedded systems or the Linux Kernel.
• Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and unit testing.
• General understanding of controls, fluid systems, motors, or other physical mechanics.
• Strong understanding of system-level design and ability to work independently.
