PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

We’re looking for a results-driven Search Marketing Engine (SEM) Analyst to manage and optimize our in-house paid campaigns. In this role, you'll own the strategy and execution of paid search efforts across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and other relevant platforms to drive qualified traffic, customer acquisition, and revenue—while maintaining compliance with pharmaceutical advertising guidelines.

The ideal candidate is data-savvy, highly analytical, understands the nuances of advertising health and pharmaceutical products online, and has a proven track record of optimizing paid search campaigns for DTC brands.

DELIVERABLES

  • Plan, launch, and optimize PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads (Bing), and other relevant platforms (Meta Ads).
  • Conduct thorough keyword research, targeting audience, competitive analysis, and budget planning to drive high-quality traffic and conversions.
  • Write, test, and optimize ad copy to increase CTR while adhering to pharmacy and health advertising standards.
  • Assist with creative strategy for Meta Ads, including competitive analysis, creative benchmarking, and ideation for ad concepts and formats.

Performance Optimization

  • Monitor and manage daily campaign performance, bidding strategies, and budget pacing.
  • Continuously run A/B tests on ad variations, landing pages, and audience segments.
  • Maximize return on ad spend (ROAS) and customer lifetime value (CLTV) through data-driven optimizations.

Compliance & Industry Knowledge

  • Ensure all campaigns comply with Google Ads policies, and other pharmacy-related ad restrictions.
  • Coordinate with legal, compliance, and internal medical teams to review ad copy and landing pages when necessary.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (CTR, CPC, CPA, CVR, ROAS) and provide actionable insights.
  • Provide weekly/monthly performance reports and optimization roadmaps to stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of hands-on PPC/SEM experience, ideally in a regulated industry like healthcare or pharma
  • Deep expertise in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and keyword bidding strategies
  • Experience with Meta Ads is a plus
  • Experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and data analysis tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Excel, PowerBI etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for performance marketing
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines
