Job Description

The Robotics Engineer is tasked with designing, documenting, developing, supporting, and enhancing the control systems crucial for production processes..

Primary Responsibilities for Robotics Engineer:

  • Analyze and compute machine performance and requirements using the PLC
  • Plan, coordinate, implement, and monitor assigned projects
  • Develop and manage capital investment budgets for assigned projects
  • Act as the primary liaison with automation and capital equipment vendors for control solutions
  • Offer controls expertise in equipment selection, overall operations, and future expansion
  • Integrate and network PCs and PLCs using TCP/IP and EthernetIP

Qualifications for Robotics Engineer:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Controls Engineer or Maintenance Technician
  • 2-4 years of experience in PLC programming, including Allen Bradley MicroLogix, SLC 500, and ControlLogix 5000 processors, for Manual and Automated Assembly Cells and Power & Free conveyor systems
  • 2-4 years of experience programming Vision Systems, such as Cognex, DVT, or Keyence
  • 2-4 years of experience with HMI programming, including AB PanelView and PanelView Plus

Education Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Programming
