QuickBooks Bookkeeper / Office Assistant – Full-Time

Are you a skilled bookkeeper with a strong background in QuickBooks and accounting? Do you have an interest in tax preparation and career growth in the field? If so, we want you on our team!

Position Details:

• Role: QuickBooks Bookkeeper / Office Assistant
• Schedule: Full-Time (Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week)
• Salary: $25+ per hour (based on experience)

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and record financial transactions using QuickBooks Desktop and Online
• Perform bank account reconciliations and analyze tax reporting agency notices
• Research and summarize tax laws; respond to inquiries from tax authorities
• Communicate professionally via phone, email, and in-person with clients
• Schedule appointments, handle outbound calls, and greet visiting clients
• Carry out administrative duties (filing, scanning, copying, correspondence, etc.)
• Maintain monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting records for clients
• Ensure confidentiality and high-quality customer service
• Future Growth Opportunity: Potential to support tax preparation and business taxes.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in bookkeeping and QuickBooks (required)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word ( required )
• Experience with Lacerte tax software ( a plus )
• Ability to prepare business financial statements ( a plus )
• Spanish bilingual skills ( a plus )
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals
• Dependable and punctual with a professional attitude and appearance
