HiFyve is hiring a Production Supervisor in the food and beverage manufacturing industry in Zumbrota, Minnesota !

Salary: $80,000-$85,000 + 5% Bonus

Shift: 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM | 2-2-3 Schedule

Location: Zumbrota, MN (Relocation Assistance Offered)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily production operations to meet quality, safety, and efficiency targets
• Monitor processing areas (milk receiving, cheese production, evaporation, etc.) to ensure standards are met
• Coordinate production scheduling and materials staging to fulfill customer orders and meet productivity goals
• Troubleshoot production and equipment issues; coordinate with maintenance for repairs
• Train and mentor team members in safety, quality, and operational procedures
• Promote and lead continuous improvement programs (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Poke Yoke)
• Administer consistent discipline, resolve employee conflicts, and support HR processes
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, sanitation, and food safety policies; assist with audits (USDA, MDA, SQF)
• Use SAP, Kronos, and plant systems to manage timekeeping, reporting, and production documentation
• Support lab, warehouse, and maintenance functions as needed

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 3+ years of experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred
• Understanding of manufacturing process flow and plant operations
• Strong supervisory and team leadership skills
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and provide shift coverage as needed
• Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and quality standards in food production
• Problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
