Position Summary:
ABC Imaging is seeking a Payroll Manager who oversees all payroll functions, ensuring compliance with local regulations in a multi-state US environment. This role includes managing payroll processing, tax filings, and benefits while leading the team to focus on accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee payroll domestically across twenty states to ensure timely processing, accuracy of wages, deductions, and compliance with local regulations. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports for management. - Maintain current knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local wage and hour laws. - Oversee timekeeping for enterprise-wide workforce. - Identify and implement improvements to streamline payroll process. - Oversee NY Disability, manage Family Leave, garnishments, and other tax notices. - Administer benefits programs, including ACA filing and HSA deposits. - Maintain the employee portal, billing, and enrollment changes for benefits programs. - Optimize HRIS (Paychex) for payroll and ensure employee data accuracy. - Manage and coach payroll staff to increase department efficiency and productivity. - Collaborate with international teams to process payroll and ensure compliance with local payroll practices.
