As an Ocean Import Coordinator, you will coordinate day-to-day import shipments, process import documentation, and report shipment statuses to respective parties. You will be a partner in our Ocean Import department developing and maintaining good relationships with carriers, truckers, customers, and warehouses. Requirements: Minimum 1 years’ experience in the freight forwarding industry handling ocean import or export operations is required. Previous experience using the ERP system, CargoWise One, is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel. Proven ability to handle high volumes of data entry. Clear and effective communication skills. Bilingual in English and Mandarin is a plus but not required. Responsibilities: Electronic file management (Arrival Notice generating, 7501, BOL issuing, etc.). Track, trace, and update ocean import containers/shipments in CargoWise One, coordinating with internal and external partners as needed. Communicate shipment delays or documentation issues to clients and overseas agents. Problem resolution between customers, carriers, and vendors. Trace rail shipments to provide final ETA updates and pickup numbers to clients. AWS shipment tracing to provide courtesy last free day notice. Salary: $22-$28/hour dependent on transferable experience and education level.
