Join to apply for the Mechanic role at South Main Trucking Co. Currently, we have an opening at our Greensburg branch for a Mechanic . Responsibilities include servicing and repairing vehicles, troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and other duties as assigned. Work hours are Daylight M-F 8:00 am-4:30 pm and Afternoon M-F 12:00 pm-8:00 pm . Requirements:

MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS

Preferably hold a Class 7 Inspection License Preferably hold a Class B Driver's License Preferably have forklift mechanical knowledge Willing to travel to other branches for repairs Able to pass DOT Physical and meet DOT regulations Must have a clean driving record Previous diesel experience is required Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Excellent communication skills Ability to perform repairs including oil, tires, brakes, lamps, and other parts Must pass background check and drug screening Electrical knowledge and basic computer skills Motivated, able to work independently and in a team Willing to learn and expand skills Work overtime as needed Graduate of a technical or military school, or relevant experience Founded in 1946, Scott Electric Company is a major electrical distributor with locations across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, and West Virginia.
