Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Inside Sales Representative at Nexxis in Greater Houston. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for customer satisfaction, lead generation, account management, and providing exceptional customer service on a day-to-day basis. The role involves building strong relationships with clients and promoting the range of technical equipment available.

You will be part of an energetic solutions team pursuing the boundaries of inspection technology integration into industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue Growth: Assist the Branch in exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual rental and sales revenue budgets.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify new revenue opportunities from various sources including strategic accounts, marketing leads, referrals, cold calling, and quote follow-up.
  • Prospecting: Make a minimum of 30 outbound sales calls daily to existing and potential customers.
  • Pipeline Management: Develop and manage a pipeline of monthly and quarterly revenue growth opportunities.
  • Quote and Order Requests: Obtain and process quote and order requests for rental equipment and supply sales.
  • Customer Engagement: Communicate weekly with the Technical Sales Representative (TSR) to promote training opportunities and face-to-face meetings.
  • Issue Resolution: Document and escalate customer complaints to the Branch Manager, TSR, and Inside Sales Manager.
  • Team Collaboration: Meet weekly and monthly with the Branch Manager and Customer Service Representatives to review performance and follow up on leads.
  • Customer Focus: Deliver excellent customer experiences and support equipment rental and supplies sales.
  • Data Entry: Maintain accurate records in Conduit for all customer inquiries.
  • Health and Safety: Promote a Health and Safety-First attitude.
  • Training: Attend ongoing sales and equipment rental training sessions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Core Competencies:

  • Sales Experience: Prior outbound telephone sales experience preferred.
  • Industry Experience: Environmental, NDT, and RVI industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and phone communication skills.
  • Initiative and Time Management: Self-starter with good time management skills and the ability to think analytically.
  • Team Player: Flexible, strong team player able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Education and Experience:

  • Experience: Previous inside sales experience with a high school diploma or equivalency certificate.
