We are actively recruiting an External Wholesaler (Regional Vice President) for a fast-growing boutique asset manager with $2B+ in AUM. They focus their distribution primarily on the larger Independent Broker-Dealer channel, with their largest clients being LPL, Cetera and Cambridge. The territory is Northern California, Oregon and Washington state.
Our client has four investment strategies with one ranked 5-Stars by Morningstar. They offer mutual funds, SMAs and are available on the UMA platforms. Currently the firm is attracting 80 new Advisors to do business with them, per month! Most of these Advisors are finding the product on their own! That said, this is a territory build-out as no Wholesaler has covered this territory before. At most, the territory is producing $1-2M in sales monthly, so you aren't starting from scratch, but you do have to hustle!
Here is the good news: This is a big ticket item. It is not unusual for an Advisor to allocate up to 20% of a portfolio in this type of strategy due to its flexibility and track record.
Despite a 20-year track record, our client has only been wholesaling their strategy for 2-3 years, and they are beginning to reap the rewards. This could be a diamond-in-the-rough opportunity for the right type of Wholesaler.
Compensation: Base salary + uncapped commissions. Full benefits and 401K.
