As an Entry Level Investment Banking Analyst specializing in Metals & Mining, you will join our dynamic team dedicated to providing comprehensive financial services to clients within the metals and mining sector. You will play a vital role in supporting senior bankers in executing transactions, conducting industry research, and providing financial analysis to facilitate strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and company research within the metals and mining sector.
• Assist in the preparation of client presentations, pitch books, and marketing materials.
• Support senior bankers in executing mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and other strategic transactions.
• Analyze industry trends, market data, and competitor performance to provide insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and risk management, to ensure transactional integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain databases and tracking systems to monitor deal flow, market activity, and client interactions.
• Participate in client meetings, conference calls, and due diligence sessions as required.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal processes and methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
• Detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Prior internship or work experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related field is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of the metals and mining industry is a plus but not mandatory.
