Job Details Responsibilities - Investigate personal auto and non-standard auto insurance claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages.
- Review statements, police reports, and supporting documentation to assess claim validity.
- Conduct field inspections and appraisals for vehicle damage.
- Work with attorneys, medical professionals, and other experts on complex claims.
- Negotiate fair settlements with claimants, attorneys, and third parties.
- Document policy status, coverage, liability and damages on all claims and notify re-insurer on qualifying claims
- Maintain detailed claim files and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide clear, professional communication to policyholders and claimants throughout the process.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience.
- Previous experience handling personal auto and non-standard auto claims.
- Strong investigative and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple claims efficiently and independently.
- Valid adjuster license as required by state regulations.
