CLAIMS ADJUSTER (bodily injury & auto/trucking)
Irvine, CA (hybrid)
ARC Group is seeking Claims Adjusters with experience in the bodily injury with commercial trucking and/or auto. This role is hybrid with onsite work a few days a week in Orange County / Irvine, CA.
Our client is a leader in the administration of commercial insurance claims. They are looking for Claims Adjusters to help drive operational excellence, optimize processes, and ensure exceptional service delivery within our client's insurance claims administration company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate, evaluate, and manage complex bodily injury claims , including those related to commercial trucking and auto liability .
- Interpret insurance policies, determine coverage, and establish reserves based on claim facts and applicable regulations.
- Work closely with attorneys, medical professionals, claimants, and insureds throughout the claims process.
- Negotiate settlements within designated authority levels and in accordance with company guidelines.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of all file activity in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Attend mediations, arbitrations, or court proceedings when required.
- Collaborate with other adjusters, underwriters, and management to improve claim processes and outcomes.
- Stay current on laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to auto/trucking and BI claims.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of claims adjusting experience , specifically in bodily injury related to auto or trucking insurance .
- Strong working knowledge of applicable state laws, especially in California and surrounding jurisdictions .
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex claims and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in industry-standard claims software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- California Adjuster License required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
