Configure and manage high-performance Cisco networking environments with a focus on low-latency performance. Troubleshoot complex network issues, perform deep packet analysis, and optimize routing/switching configurations. Deploy and maintain multicast, QoS, and network automation strategies for latency-sensitive applications. Monitor, analyze, and fine-tune network performance using tools such as Corvil, Wireshark, and IXIA . Collaborate with trading teams, infrastructure teams, and third-party vendors to enhance network efficiency. Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with financial industry standards. Document network designs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures for internal knowledge sharing. Required Skills & Experience: 7-10 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on ultra-low latency environments . CCIE certification (Enterprise, Data Center, or Service Provider) required. Expertise in Cisco Nexus, Arista, and Juniper networking technologies. In-depth knowledge of low-latency routing, switching, multicast, and TCP/IP protocols. Experience optimizing Layer 1-3 networking for electronic trading environments. Hands-on experience with Corvil, SolarWinds, or similar network performance tools . Proficiency in network automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform) . Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in high-frequency trading (HFT), financial markets, or electronic trading infrastructure . Knowledge of Linux-based network performance tuning .
