About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief of Staff to join its Staff Counsel leadership team. The successful candidate will be a strategic and organized professional with a strong background in litigation, strategy, or business operations, particularly within a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities for the Chief of Staff include strategic planning and execution, operational efficiency, cross-functional leadership, executive communication, project oversight, team leadership, decision support, stakeholder management, and resource management. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in a senior leadership or Chief of Staff position, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence and drive strategic initiatives. The Chief of Staff will also be responsible for overseeing critical projects, acting as a trusted advisor, and helping to scale the team's impact within the organization. Applicants for the Chief of Staff position at the company should have at least 7 years of attorney experience and a strong background in organizational and project management. The role requires a highly analytical individual with strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Leadership and team development experience are essential, as is the ability to work strategically and collaboratively across multiple functions. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, both written and verbal, and a multi-tasker who can efficiently manage resources. A preference is given to those with experience in staff counsel or insurance defense.
