About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to spearhead the strategic use of information technology in support of the institution's mission. The CIO will be responsible for leading and managing the Information Services division, which encompasses academic and administrative computing, networking, support services, media, and instructional technology. This role involves providing vision and leadership for the development and implementation of shared information systems, as well as ensuring that IT initiatives align with the College's strategic plan. The successful candidate will also be tasked with financial management, collaboration across departments, and maintaining professional relationships with external technology entities. Applicants for the CIO position at the company should have a graduate degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years' experience in IT leadership, with a preference for those with a background in higher education. The role requires a strong understanding of enterprise applications, security, networking, and IT portfolio analysis, as well as excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. The CIO will be expected to have a proven track record in managing a large technology operation, including strategic planning, budgeting, and business continuity. Experience with higher education SIS and ERP systems and knowledge of emerging technologies in the educational sector are also desirable.
