Hudson Table is a recreational culinary studio and event space looking for talented and passionate Chefs and Chef Instructors to join our team in Hoboken, NJ! We specialize in providing unique culinary experiences to our guests; whether they are taking a hands-on cooking class, attending our popular chef competitions, or enjoying a catered event in our open-kitchens or our stunning rooftop. We offer highly competitive pay plus tips and bonuses!

A flexible schedule with weeknight and weekend availability is required. Catering experience and teaching experience is a plus.

ROLES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your role as a Chef at Hudson Table is to lead your team and guests through the execution of classes and/or events in a fun and organized way. You will teach Hudson Tables preexisting hands-on classes as well as lead your Kitchen Assistants in the execution of chef competitions, catered events, chef's tables. You will have the unique opportunity to develop and prepare your own menus for on and off-site catering, or plated multi-course dining experiences live in front of our guests.

COMPENSATION:
Hourly/Flat Rate Compensation + Bonus Incentives and Tips

REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work 2-3 shifts per week including weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Culinary degree from an accredited program
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the food industry
- Must have a strong understanding of food and kitchen safety
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task
- Ability to bend and lift 40 - 60 pounds
- Must understand FOH operations and be able to deliver high-quality customer experience
- Must possess a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Good communication including listening skills required
- Proven ability to work independently at times and within a team
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines
- Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
