Position Summary

We are seeking a CAD Drafter to support our team by producing accurate technical drawings and system installation documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor and be comfortable working with blueprints across multiple disciplines. PLM/PDM experience is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and revise detailed 2D CAD drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Assist in developing and updating floor plans, riser diagrams, and system layouts based on engineering specifications.
  • Work with Autodesk Inventor for 3D modeling when needed.
  • Collaborate with the CAD manager, sales, engineers, project managers, and production staff to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Maintain organization of drawings and files within Autodesk Vault.
  • Work with architectural, electrical, mechanical, structural, and site plans to integrate designs.
  • Assist in maintaining best practices for PLM/PDM and drawing organization.

Qualifications & Skills

  • CAD Certificate or 2-year technical college degree (preferred).
  • 1-2+ years of experience in drafting and CAD work.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD required.
  • Experience with Autodesk Inventor preferred.
  • Experience with Revit is a plus.
  • PLM/PDM experience (Autodesk Vault, etc.) is a plus.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and follow engineering standards.
