Seasonal Broadway Sales Associate - NYC

THE ROLE:

Creative Goods Merchandise, a dynamic full-service merchandising company, is currently seeking part-time seasonal Sales AssociatesWe are currently seeking passionate candidates that exhibit the core values of excellence, have a commitment to safety, and value a collaborative and supportive work environment. This role will end on or about January 12th. Based on business needs, there is a potential ability to stay beyond the fall and winter Broadway seasons.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities

• Greet patrons and process all merchandise transactions.
• Maintain working knowledge of products and prices.
• Ensure lines are managed while maintaining enthusiasm and poise.
• Receive, process, and replenish merchandise inventory.
• Communicate effectively with managers and colleagues and support a positive work environment.

General Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Strong basic math skills required.
• Cash handling and returning accurate change.
• Be able to engage with customers, team members, and management positively.
• Ability to work discreetly and respectfully in a theater house environment
• Maintain enthusiasm, charisma, and focus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Entertainment experience/interest is desired, but not necessary.

Working Conditions

• Ability to climb ladders and safely install display elements.
• Ability to maneuver stairs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull 50lbs.

Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour
