Job Description

Our client is seeking a Temporary Benefits Coordinator to join their team in New York!

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate new hire benefits orientations & create presentations.
  • Support employees with eligibility inquiries for all benefit plans.
  • Answer questions, explain options, and help employees choose the most suitable benefits.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to create and improve benefits programs.
  • Organize activities and Benefit Fairs.
  • Maintain accurate records in HRIS and adhere to compliance laws.
  • Project manage benefits communications including global engagement activities and required employee benefits-related notices.
  • Act as liaison for all Worker’s Compensation claims & connect with vendors.
  • Handle all accommodation requests in partnership with upper management.
  • Use past records to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, and recommend changes.
  • Assist with leave program coordination including FMLA, Disability, parental, etc.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, primarily in Benefits-related roles.
  • Knowledge of common employee benefits offerings and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of Workers Compensation rules and processes.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Workday HRIS.
