If you’re passionate about mixology, hospitality, and working in a lively, dynamic setting, this is the role for you!What will I do?Welcome guests, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink ordersPlan drink menus and inform guests about new beverages and specialsSelect and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages to orderBuild a rapport with guests by creating a positive and energetic atmosphereCheck identification to ensure guests are the legal age to purchase alcoholRequired Qualifications:1 or more years of bartending experience in an upscale and/or fine dining establishmentAdvanced knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and related specialty beveragesPreferred Qualifications:Certification of training in liquor, wine, food service and/or alcohol awareness programsCompletion of a reputable bartending courseExperience creating craft cocktailsAt Wegmans, we’ve long believed we can achieve our goals only if we first fulfill the needs of our people.
