Barge Cleaner – Channelview, TX
Start Date: Monday, 3/31
Work Schedule: 6 AM - 6 PM & 6 PM - 6 AM (4 days on, 4 on-call, 4 nights on, 4 off) – Must be able to rotate between day and night shifts.
Location: Channelview, TX 77530
Pay Rate: $17 - $20/hr
Job Description:
TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking experienced Barge Cleaners in East Houston. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience and be comfortable working in confined spaces . The role involves cleaning the interior of barges and tanks, requiring the ability to fit through a 27” opening and wear a chemical suit with a mask .
Requirements:
✔ HAZWOPER 40 certification
✔ Confined Spaces certification
✔ TWIC card
✔ Must be clean-shaven for a required fit test after safety training
✔ Ability to work in confined spaces and physically demanding environments
First Day:
Safety training, orientation, and fit testing
Required Attire:
Leather steel-toed boots (waterproof preferred)
FRCs (if available)
All other PPE provided
