Job Description

EA Property Management is looking to add an Assistant Property Manager to our team. In this role, the candidate will communicate with tenants, vendors, and work closely with the Property Manager. The ideal candidate communicates and negotiates well, has great phone skills, and works with speed. This is a hybrid in-office and remote position in the Albuquerque metro area and is available immediately for the right candidate. 

Responsibilities:

  • Documenting action items to get properties rent ready i.e. taking pictures, sending action items to Administrative Assistant to create work orders for vendors, placing lockboxes, etc.
  • Leasing open units with efficiency.
  • Following up on leads on prospective tenants.
  • Coordinate move-ins, signing leases, handing keys to new tenants, and setting up tenants in the portal.
  • Delivering notices to tenants for non-compliance.
  • Attending court to complete eviction trials, as needed.
  • Will need to use of a personal vehicle and cell phone for this job.
  • Other duties as needed.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • New Mexico Real Estate License is a plus
  • Effective oral and written communication
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • 1-2 years in property management is a plus
  • Familiarity with property damages is a plus.
  • Property Preservation, REO, Cost Estimate, Xactimate and HUD Guideline experience a plus.


Job Info:

  • Full Time
  • Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
  • $17.00-23.00 per hour - Depending on Experience.
  • Ability to commute/relocate to Albuquerque, New Mexico.
  • Experience: Property management: 1 year experience, required
