Job Description

The IT Systems Architect is responsible for the assessment and direction of technology to meet system requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter. May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group. Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of experience. Design expertise. Computer skills. Ability to work as part of a team. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Determines physical system design. Assesses existing technology and standards for fit within information standards and logical systems design. Evaluates and selects from existing and emerging technologies to best fit business and project needs. Defines the technical platform. Works as part of a system-wide, cross-functional team. Helps to plan and manage implementation and integration of new technologies.
