2nd or 3rd Shift-Machine Operator - $21/hr-$23 Responsibilities

• Check operating controls and safety of equipment prior to operation.
• Obtain material for processing from inventory bins and notify the supervisor of any damaged, defective, or missing material.
• Set up machine based on production orders.
• Label and pack finished products as produced on the machine per work order instructions.
• Review work orders and drawings, resolving any conflicts.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies.
• Comply with OSHA safety standards when performing job duties.
• Notify the supervisor or manager of any potential safety hazards.
• Maintain lift cart certification.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• 2 years of experience in heavy general labor, heavy machine operating, carpentry, or construction.
• Experience working with large parts or materials (4 ft +).
• Good documentation skills.
• Ability to understand oral and written instructions.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
• Some Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally.
• Experience with an ERP or computer system for pulling up work orders and checking products.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with film/paper/cardboard rewinding machinery or converting machinery.
• Experience with bottling/food manufacturing machinery.
• Experience with hand tools, drills, saws, etc., is a plus.
• Good job tenure is a must (no more than 3 jobs in 3 years).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
